After last year's total Spring Top sewing frenzy (which saw me making 5 tops), I have managed to miss this year's event. Well, actually, entries close tomorrow but I haven't made anything that can be entered and I'm not going to start now.
I suppose that's what comes of having a new baby and still trying to catch up on blog posts from March (currently I have 563 posts to read, and as soon as I find some time to read some, I get new ones! What's the deal here, eh?).
Anyway, for those of you who haven't come across the Spring Top Sewalong (it's been upgraded from Spring Top Week), it's a month of top sewing hosted by Made By Rae. You can read all about it here and see this year's entries here.
And... if you've had the time to make a top (they must have been finished after March 1st), you still have time to enter if you get cracking and do it today. Just post a photo of each top in the Flickr pool and add a note saying what pattern you used and that sort of thing (full instructions here).
So I have learnt two things from this. First, try to keep more up to date with my post reading, and second, don't have a baby in February! ☺
Happy Sunday!
